New Sims3 Store Items:

The Sims3 Store has updated with a completely new set called the "Ultra Lounge" set. Get 50 items for 19 dollars. Or, if you're unlucky and need to buy them in Euros, the price is 23 Euros ($32,-).
There are also a few new hairstyles and clothes, which ofcourse are not in this set.
As you may have noticed, I'm not that excited about this store and though as a newsreporter I need to stay objective, I believe these prices are totally ridiculous.

Sims3 EP:

It's confirmed; The first Sims 3 expansionpack will be here in November. On a French gaming site, the following title was found: The Sims 3: Destination Aventure.
Note that there's no official statement from EA about this pack yet, but is expected very soon.

Sims 3 Patch

For those starting up their Sims 3 game, you have noticed the message of a new patch. Several people are having problems with this patch, like unable to install or game problems.
I too have experienced this and fortunately, after re-installing the patch worked. It seems that certain mods, like the censorpatch causes this. If you have a backup of the original file, first place it back before applying the patch. If you haven't, search for it on the game cd.

Install and Game Launcher

First of all, I went to pick up the game right after i got up from bed, so i was one of the first people to play the game in Melbourne Australia. Now, the install went well on my Notebook running Windows Vista 32bit and 2gb of ddr2 ram, did not have a single problem, so the install took about 30 minutes and right after that the game ran smoothly. No errors or anything. the new sims3 Game launcher is a pretty neat tool because it handles your custom content and photos and Sims, Houses etc. if you want to add them to the Sims 3 site.

The Sims3 game play was much better and much free than other Sims games. The best part is there’s no loading times when you go to a community lot or Next door or to a Sims house. This is the best feature of the game. So the graphics i was in two minds because they don’t look as good as i thought, but the issue was i had my settings on low not Med or high, you can make the game look very good if you change the settings, just to let you know you have to have at lest 2gb of ram and a top of a range Graphic card to play the game on High with no slow lag. (If you want to make the game faster read www.visesims.co.nr for more information) Now, the issue was it was to hard and different to hover around the Sims world , but will get used to if you played the game more than once. Now i was playing the Sims for 2 days now, and i had found that when you move into a home, there’s surprise in the homes the Sims Agency hasn’t told you about like when i moved into a lot, there was a house ghost which i never knew about till night.

My Sim On His Bike. (You can see the Graphics not looking good but don't worry that's because when you go to a lot, the game will load the textures and full graphics each time you go to a lot)

Sims 3 workshop
TSR has started the Sims 3 Workshop. They are working together with EA for several months now to create a custom content tool. Why EA specifically chose TSR to create this tool is unknown and will no doubt give some heavy discussions. Hopefully this tool will be available for all creators and not just for TSR's.

And the pictures show the real nice graphics of the sims3, to me it looks more real and smooth graphics in the sims3, and more happening, like how each sim is doing something different then in the sims2, nearly every sim was doing the same thing in the same way. and i like the way in the sims3 you can now follow those Sims that always come to your home when you first move to a new home. But still were all going to play this game by Next week so don't worry, less than 7 days left of waiting for the last time! Make sure you clean up your computer and uninstall the sims2 if it takes alot of space up.

Note: I wont be Blogging This week, due to alot is going on and lost of work needs to be done. and i will be doing a full install review of the sims3 when i get my hands on it, so don't worry Visesims will have alot of new type of sims3 blogging coming very soon!

Photo's allowed at Dutch sims event
Coming friday, there's a Sims event where fansites can play the game and see a presentation. As one of the few Sims 3 events, it's allowed to take pictures. So if you want to see a specific item or actionmoment, give me a mail and I'll do my best to get a picture of it.

EA Uk had a small Sims 3 event where people could play the Sims 3. Though there were some technical problems, still lots of info came from the event. The Sims Zone made a very detailed report about their playing time.

Sims3 For iPhone Pictures: Been searching at Gizmodo.com and found some great sims3 pictures and new information:

It's been a while since we've seen or heard of EA Mobile's The Sims 3 for the iPhone, but these new screens say it all. They just say it in Simlish.

Based on the images, we can see character customization as well as open-world neighborhood and potential inter-Sim interaction. What we're not seeing is the spiffy stuff mentioned at Apple's 3.0 Update event—namely that The Sims 3 for iPhone will let you play music from your own library and has in-app commerce features, letting you purchase game items from the iTunes App Store while playing.

Additional features in The Sims 3 iPhone listed in a press release sent to TouchArcade also say the 10-hour game will feature four mini games – cooking, fishing, gardening and house repairing.

Official word says you can also make your Sim fall in love, but it's not clear if Whoo-Hooing will be part of the touch control experience.
